Mercedes Laudano is a Registered Dietitian in Northern Virginia, specializing in Renal Nutrition and Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Mercedes has provided nutrition services and education to patients at Georgetown University Hospital since 2012, supporting and improving their nutritional well-being. She specializes in the nutritional needs of people with chronic kidney disease and other kidney-related conditions, including IgA nephropathy, polycystic kidney disease, FSGS and kidney stones. Mercedes works with many Nephrologists in the greater DC area.

Mercedes attended London Metropolitan University where she obtained her Masters Degree in Nutrition, after earning her B.S. in Science and Nutrition at University of the District of Columbia. Mercedes also holds various certifications. She is a Board-Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) and a Certified Clinical Transplant Dietitian (CCTD). Mercedes is Bilingual in Spanish and English.  She is deeply committed to providing the best quality care according to evidence-based nutrition guidelines.

Appointments lasts one hour and you will receive nutrition counseling and an assessment of your recent lab values.
